Practical Excellence:

A key feature of most sustainably excellent organisations is that Innovation and excellence have become a part of the corporate "DNA".  We offer a two day "Practical Excellence" workshop to help participating executives learn how to achieve this.

For over two decades now EFQM, in Brussels, has maintained a global consensus on a model and a set of operational principles that define how an organisation should best  achieve and sustain superior levels of performance, that meet or exceed the expectations of all their stakeholders.

In it's simplest form, the EFQM Excellence Model is a 9-box "Cause and Effect" diagram.

If you would like to see a primer on the EFQM model and examples of Good Management Practices,  based on our course materials, please go to: http://slidesha.re/sGulet

If applied well (but note dangers) the use of such performance models can help organisations be they small or large, public or private, to self diagnose their improvement priorities and  track their progress, they provide:

  • a fact-based technique for assessing an organisation's strengths and areas for improvement and then measuring its progress, based on an holistic analysis of stakeholder insights, perceptions and achievements;
  • a way to understand the coherency and depth of strategy implementation, helping to integrate the various projects and Improvement Initiatives that may exist;
  • a way to compare performance with others and identify Good Practices, both internally and externally;
  • a basis for creating a common vocabulary, way of thinking and method to educate people in Innovation and continual improvement;
  • a way to draw from and co-ordinate the contributions of all stakeholders and
  • a way to pull all of the above together in order to conclude and target what changes/innovations will be needed to deliver desired future performance.

To help you achieve such aims we offer a two day workshop to the agenda below. All delegates are provided with  a  “Practical Excellence Guide/Tool Kit” to help them with their personal knowledge needs but also as an enabler for ongoing in-company deployment.
